The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Ottawa marked the commencement of National Integrity Week (27–31 July 2026)

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Ottawa marked the commencement National Integrity Week (27-31 July 2026) under the national initiative “A Culture of Integrity - A Clean Sri Lanka.” The programme included the singing of the National Anthem, remarks by the Acting High Commissioner, and the National Integrity Pledge. Staff reaffirmed their commitment to transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, professionalism, and quality public service.

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Ottawa marked the commencement of National Integrity Week (27–31 July 2026) under the national initiative “A Culture of Integrity - A Clean Sri Lanka.”

An in-house programme was held with the participation of all staff members of the Mission on 27th July 2026 at 9.30 a.m. The programme commenced with the singing of the Sri Lankan National Anthem, followed by remarks by the Acting High commissioner on the importance of fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability, and good governance in public service.

The National Integrity Pledge was thereafter administered, reaffirming the collective commitment of the staff to uphold ethical conduct, professionalism, transparency, accountability, and public trust, while serving the public with honesty, fairness, and efficiency and standing firmly against corruption, bribery, and maladministration.

The programme concluded with an informal interaction among staff members, strengthening the shared sense of responsibility and collective commitment to promoting a culture of integrity and excellence in public service, both within the Mission and beyond.
